These photos were taken in order to see different shapes around us.  We found circular, triangular, square and rectangular shapes around the city.  As i went out walking it made me more aware of what shapes wesee all the time on a short walk.  Once i started to capture them the more i could see around me as i continued my walk.                                                                                                                      

                                             

   For these photos we  did some panning.  Panning is when the subject of the photo is moving in a direction and you follow them with the camera in order to try and get the focus on the figure moving.  When this is done correctly the figure should be looking still and the background should be a mysterious blur. 

For these pictures we explored the effects that a pen light.   for these photos we had the lights off and took a pen light and swirled it around  in ways that looked swirly, full of motion.  we had our cameras set with a very slow shutter speed.  this helped us capture the full trail of the pen light.  for some other photos we had a colorful wand to also experiment with.  the wand made different patterns pen light because it had light on both ends, not just one.  When we used them together we got very exiting photos with color and motion all over the page.  this was an exiting photo shoot to do because you never know what your going to get

for this post we were exploring differnt angles and playing with light and dark, while the camera was set in black and white mode.
