For these pictures we explored the effects that a pen light.   for these photos we had the lights off and took a pen light and swirled it around  in ways that looked swirly, full of motion.  we had our cameras set with a very slow shutter speed.  this helped us capture the full trail of the pen light.  for some other photos we had a colorful wand to also experiment with.  the wand made different patterns pen light because it had light on both ends, not just one.  When we used them together we got very exiting photos with color and motion all over the page.  this was an exiting photo shoot to do because you never know what your going to get

  1. I really like your third picture. The contrast of the bright light and the black background is really cool. The light actually looks like two swords crossing. Also, I really like how there is a blue tint to it. Your last picture is also really interesting/cool. The colorful light is making a cool pattern that looks like it will only be there for a second, and its sooo neat how you captured it. Good job!

  2. Thes pictures are really cool. i loved the way you tweaked the colors of the lights and they look very sharp. They remind me of jellyfish strings. I also really like the chaos in the last picture and the layering of the different lights.

  3. I love your abstract colored light photos. Even with the same subject you made each one look different. You did a good job editing the photos and making something simple have color. The pink one stands out to me the most.

  4. I love the different tints and how the lights look like party streamers. You could have added a picture of lights with a figure. I also like the first picture because the red light and white light compliment each other so well. The picture with the "x" is also cool because it shows a different side of light that's more focused on having a defined shape rather than the chaotic swirls.

  5. I like all the different shots of the lights. If you didn't know beforehand the context they were taken in, they would be completely abstract and it would be hard to tell exactly how they were taken and what they were taken of. I also like the picture with the X and the person in the background.
