These photos were taken in order to see different shapes around us.  We found circular, triangular, square and rectangular shapes around the city.  As i went out walking it made me more aware of what shapes wesee all the time on a short walk.  Once i started to capture them the more i could see around me as i continued my walk.

  1. I really like these photos because I can clearly see the shapes. I like the photos of the iron swirl because you're close to the swirl but you can still see the background and it makes a very interesting picture. I also enjoy the second to the last picture of the circle thingy because it is very nice and you can see the reflection in the window.

  2. I really like all your photos you really understood and successfully assessed the assignment. It was really clever of you to make the triangle with someone's hands. That is by far my favorite! Really clever. Also, the stoplight picture is really cool, if you could have all three lights i think it would be cool but otherwise it's awesome.
    Good Job!

  3. I love the stop light picture, it really stands out. You did a good job capturing all of the shapes we needed to find. I like that you have both close ups and more distant shots of all the shapes.

  4. I think you really understood the concept of the "cityscapes". I really like how you mixed in organic objects in nature like the sunflowers and street architecture. I also think the picture of the grocery baskets really shows the repetitive pattern of rectangles. I think using different, maybe more awkward angles would have made this series stronger. Also the picture of the circular sculpture with the arrow going through it could have benefited from being taken closer up.

  5. I liked how you got a bunch of cool angles on things. I really liked the spiral fence thing, and how you see through it down the street. I also liked how you put in a triangle made my someone with their hands, which was a good way to get strait to the problem of putting shapes in.
